Upgrade.
So I got a Pentax 6 x 7. I looks just like a 35mm but everything is bigger. the film was 6cm x 7cm or about 4 times the size of a 35mm. the above images are from that camera from the mid '80's to the mid 90's They can be printed much larger. The print of Halfdome printed to 60" wide with no problem.
Photography
In College I started working in Photography. I even won some awards. Early on I found printing from transparencies or a positive image like a slide, there was a process called Cibachrome printing. One got deep colors, but the blacks were hard to manage.
Above are a few of those kind of works. I started in 35mm but I felt it was Grainy. The Image above is Chrondelete Park shot probably 1985.

Early Sculptures
I studied under Jim Clark at William Woods College. The classes were small, about 6 people per semester. I found I liked wood constructions. I turned the "Broken Closepin" and constructed the "Island" for my Senior exhibition.

A few watercolors
My Professor in College, George Tutt said "Don't even think about being good until you've done a thousand paintings"
The '80s
In the years after College I spent my creative time drawing and painting watercolors. The St. louis Artist guild had a drawing class that I attended every tuesday for about 7 years.
